Environmental, Health & Safety Consultant – Project Manager

Position Summary
NES has an immediate opening for an EH&S Consultant at the Project Manager capacity in our Folsom, California office. Responsibilities include project/client management, budget and deliverable tracking, fieldwork, data interpretation/reviews, develop/review reports/proposals, regulatory liaison and business development. Projects typically include: HazMat/Waste Management Plans; SWPPPs; SPCC Plans; HMBPs, Compliance/EMS Audits; Regulatory Permits; Plant Closures; Air/Water Quality Assessments; and similar projects. Other responsibilities may include preparing and conducting EH&S technical presentations and training sessions, as well as attending/participating in association meetings and technical conferences.

Qualifications & Compensation
EH&S Project Manager position requires a BS degree in Environmental Sciences/Engineering or related degree, MS preferred, minimum of 8-10 years experience is essential. Excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, project management & business development skills/experience required. A clean DMV record and some travel required.
