Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOP) Refresher

NES has partnered with EM-Assist(EMA) to produce this interactive, on-line learning experience. NES/EMA’s online refresher course lets you pick the time and place to complete coursework required to renew HAZWOP certification. Hazardous waste site employees and supervisors must receive an annual refresher to maintain their certification and our new Web-based course is the most convenient way to go! When taking the course, the software remembers what sections you've taken and picks up where you left off. Click here for more information. To complete the course you must take 8 of 12 available modules. Four (4) of the modules are required and cover basic safety topics. You then select 4 from 8 elective modules. You get to choose modules that are relevant to your job. Please note that workers not completing an annual refresher after one year can not work at a qualified site. Not completing an annual refresher within 18 months of their last refresher must obtain a new 24/40-hr HAZWOP certification.
